Denali National Park and Preserve

This 24,585 square kilometer American National Park is located in central Alaska and includes Denali, the highest peak in North America (6,190 meters). This region is also home to a wide variety of birds and mammals, such as grizzly bears, black bears and caribou.

Sawyer Glaciers

Matanuska Glacier

At 39 kilometers long and 6.4 kilometers wide, Matanuska is the largest glacier accessible by car in the United States, from March to the end of October. Active, it advances about thirty centimeters a day.

Katmai National Park and Preserve
